Dr Ilana Wisby is a quantum physicist and deep-tech entrepreneur, and one of very few people to have taken a quantum company from a patent to global scale. As founding CEO of Oxford Quantum Circuits, she built quantum computers end to end. She raised $100m+, deployed the world's first 32-qubit machines in commercial data centres, and scaled a team of around 130 across the UK, Japan, and Europe. She has briefed prime ministers and chief scientific advisors on quantum capability and sovereign infrastructure, and works at the intersection of deep tech, leadership, and national security.
She is now an Entrepreneur in Residence at Cambridge Innovation Capital, building again. Through it all, one belief holds. How we build matters as much as what we build.
